Notes:
- This is a test controller that does not yet have the rest of its I/O boards; the removal and cleaning process is the same regardless.
- There is also no need to disconnect any cables during the process.
Remove the two screws on the USB extension board (not installed in this controller).
Remove the four nuts indicated in the figure.
Remove the white plastic board. (There's no need to remove the circuit board on it.)
Remove the white plastic plate on the side of the controller.
Remove the two nuts and two plastic spacers indicated in the figure.
Remove the circuit board. (We don't recommend disconnecting any cables, as doing so makes the re-assembly process more difficult.
You're now ready to clean the slider. To re-assemble, follow these instructions in reverse order.
